Ingredients:

  • Frozen chicken wings – thawed
  • ¼ – ½  cup Gourmet Flour
  • Spicy Hawaiian Sauce ( Use your favorite: Spicy Hawaiian, Spicy Hawaiian – HOT, Spicy Hawaiian Garlic,  Spicy Hawaiian Garlic – HOT)

Preparation:

  • Using a gallon size Ziploc bag, add Gourmet Flour and chicken wings, close and thoroughly shake chicken and flour
  • Preheat vegetable oil in a large cast iron pot, pan or deep fryer to 350-375 degrees
  • Add up to 4 – 5 pieces at a time and cook until chicken floats to top (approx.. 8-10 min), remove and let rest for 10 minutes
  • Add chicken in a bowl and drizzle Spicy Hawaiian Sauce over (use as much sauce as desired)

Note: Adding too many chicken pieces at one time will cause oil temperature to drop and making it harder to maintain consistent frying temperature

Option: You can prepare an egg wash (scramble 1 egg in a bowl) or buttermilk,  dredge chicken in wash and dust in Ziploc gourmet flour bag
