Yields 12 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. De Cecco Spaghetti
  • 3 – 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 bulb garlic (minced, approx. 15 cloves)
  • 3 ½ cup water
  • 5 – 15 chili flakes (Optional: for spicy)
  • 2 – 3 teaspoon Hawaiian Sea Salt Company “Kona Hawaiian Seasoning”

Instant Pot Preparation:

  • In the Instant Pot, Sauté mode
  • Add olive oil and butter
  • Add garlic and brown —> Cancel Sauté
  • Add water and Kona Seasoning Salt
  • Break spaghetti in halves, add evenly into pot with the water covering all noodles
  • Set Instant Pot for 6 minutes on High Pressure Cook
  • Set to Natural Pressure for 8 minutes then Quick Pressure Release
  • Open pot and stir noodles, plate pasta and continue to stir
  • Let rest for 5 – 10 minutes and add any cheese garnish

OPTIONAL: Follow above steps and omit/skip adding Kona Seasoning in the cooking process.

Upon Serving: Add/Sprinkle Kona Seasoning on top of the pasta and enjoy!
